March Madness
Apologies for the completely unoriginal post name this month.
All in all, I had a pretty productive February. I even managed to accomplish every last goal on my goal list for the month for the first time in…well, probably ever.
Which means that I’m…*checks notes* …moving forward with my plans?
Wait. That can’t be right.
*checks notes again*
Huh. Maybe it is right.
Let’s take a look at the numbers…
The word counts here are definitely *not* impressive by any stretch of the imagination, but the first drafts have not been my top priority so far this year. They’re mostly not even on the radar at all. The focus has been on publishing Terrible Romance Sequel and Full Circle as well as my clients’ manuscripts (happy to report that Editor Me is booked for most of this year. There’s even a waiting list!) so I only ever add words to any of the first drafts when and if I think of something to add. So really, the fact that any words were added at all to anything is pretty neat.
The ‘final read-through’ of Terrible Romance Sequel went fairly well, I think. I did come away with a new list of changes to make, but they are overall pretty minor and should not take long to get through. Which means that I’ll be moving forward with the next phrase of this project: turning it into an actual book.
(Don’t worry, kids. There’s still plenty of time for me to get in my own way and stop this crazy train from showing up at the station.)
Here’s what’s on tap for March:
Of note here:
Formatting and Cover Art means that I just may be revealing the Terrible Romance Sequel’s proper title at some point in the near(ish) future. I may or may not have a game planned for this, so if you’re interested in playing or just finding out what the title is before next month, follow me on either Instagram or find my author page on Facebook.
That’s it for me this month. What’s going on in your corner of the world?
Thanks for stopping by! Be safe and well, all.
